Is it possible to log into 1 domain and print to a shared printer in another domain?

Our Windows support team can't get things going!

Do you need the user setup in both domains? or on the pc with the printer on?

You need to set up a trust between the two domains and create the proper security groups that have the users in it that will be printing to the printer(s) and grant access to these groups for the printer(s).

a quick easy method is to install the printer as a local printer and use the tcp/ip address settings and print directly to the printer.

This way you don't have to setup any trusts
