I was told by the crystal tech support team that Printing to PDF is not possible in 8.0...Is this true?

If not that how do I go about printing to PDF from 8.0. Please Provide instructions on how to add PDF as a printer.

Your help is appreciated...

You can export to PDF in Crystal V8.5. Before that, if you owned V8, you could call Crystal and they would send you a beta version of a U2*pdf.dll that would export to PDF.

Since V8.5 is available, they are probably less willing to give out the DLL to people who own V8.0. Brian J. Alves

A PDF printer is simply a postscript printer. You install one onto your system (any one will do, I use Apple Laser Writer II NTX, at work, it is probably on the default list in the Windows CD you used to install). Then you print to it and you use a program to convert it to PDF. You could buy the Adobe Acrobat full version but there is a free software package that does a creditable job. I use it at home but I am at work at the moment. When I get back I will post the link here. It installs a postscript printer for you. Just take care that you follow all the instructions to the 'T' as it can (and did mine LOL ) beggar up your other printer settings if you are not careful. But as long as you do as they say it is fine. Learn something new every day *:->*
