Hi,

Does anyone know how to specify which paper type to print to in Word?

The problem is, I am sending different pages to different trays (letterheads etc) but when one tray runs out it carries on from a different tray, no good.

I have been told that if you set up paper types on the printer and then specify which paper type to print to in the code, the printer will stop printing when a tray runs out.

Does anyone know how to do this, or have a better idea of how to accomplish this?

TIA
Wux.

I think this is a printer driver problem. What is your printer. We do this with Canon and Kyocera printers and they stop when a bin runs out.

You may want to try changing the Paper Source in Page Setup option (thru macro or for that doc).

I would think it should work.

For e.g. your first page picks paper from Tray 1 and subsequent pages from Tray 2.

Rgds
