I have a a server running SCO Openserver ver 5.0.6 that previously has two printers defined (hoth HP). A third (Lexmark optra s1625; this printer is NIC addressable) had been added about a week ago essentially as a copy of one of the HP printers (i.e. same model was used as the HP). I downloaded the printer driver info for the lexmark printer and used the pkgadd command to install this. A model for the Lexmark printer was placed into /usr/spool/lp/model. I used scoadmin to change the model for the Lexmark printer from the HP one to the appropriate Lexmark. I then executed lp -d p9 /etc/hosts hoping this would print to p9. It sent info to /usr/spool/lp/temp where they stayed. I then went into scoadmin and deleted the jobs in the queue and deleted p9 and readded it. I executed lp -d p9 /etc/hosts and the info does not stay in /usr/spool/lp/temp but it does not get to the printer either. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
