Printing to fax machine trouble

I have an R2 SP4 (patch 407) MAS/MSS T-1/QSIG. I cannot get faxes to print to local 4 digit fax extensions.

I have a "dummy" fax mailbox of 1088 setup in the MAS and MSS as per R2 docs. In the MSS, I have a "system" fax mailbox 1088 and a corresponding ARIA suscriber with Outbounf fax permissions.

2 things happen:

When TUI user prints to default or alternate fax destination (NOT the same as the system fax mailbox. . .)

1. If VM Enable set to Y on 1088 subscriber form: calls sent to valid fax (ex: 3481), goto 1088 as a fax voicemail and does not print to machine.
2. If above is set to N, the fax does not print, but also does not leave a fax voicemail in 1088.

Any thoughts?

I would look in the Windows Event Viewer in the Application Log to see if there are any errors that will help you figure out what may be going on. Normally I haven't had any problems getting the fax service to work. Just setup a fax mailbox in the MSS and then set it up in the MAS per the instructions. The system fax mailbox is just a special mailbox like the postmaster.
