I need to print to a shared network printer HP 4100 with a preset IP address stored in the printers memory. I can ping it from the SCO Unix terminal and get replies. I found the way to add a printer in the SCOADMIN menu but dont understand how to add it by the IP address. I need to add this printer to an old unix program MAS90 accounting software.

How is the printer being "shared"?

which version of sco? (uname -X)

In the printer manager you would add it as a "remote" printer with the ip address as the host.
More detailed instructions will depend on how the printer is shared and which version of sco you are using.
Once the printer is added to the sco system then you should be able to use it from your accounting software as long as it knows how to talk to PCL printers.
