I have installed a few remote offices to log into us using NFuse. Two of these remote offices only have one printer and it is a networked copier. One copier is a Sharp and the other is a Savin.

I have noticed some "wirdness" with these copiers. The NFuse detetcs the sharp and loads the correct drivers but it will not print, not even a test page. For the Savin Nfuse loads the universial print driver and when things are printed sometimes it prints fine and sometimes the printed paper is totally unreadable.

Anybody else been having any issues with networked copiers for printing out of NFuse?

We are using Canon ImageRunner copiers without any problems (TCP/IP cxn).

This really sounds like a driver/printing issue as opposed to something specifically related to the networked copiers. The problem we have often found with multifunction devices (such as these copiers, as well as HP OfficeJets, etc.) is that the standard drivers do not always work.

Are the copiers at least PCL5 compatible? Have you tried using a simpler, older HP LaserJet driver (and setting up any necessary client-server printer name mappings?) We have often found this to be helpful. Also, the Univ Prnt Driver is often NOT "universal".

Hope this helps!
