Folks,

I have waited as long as possible to post. I have spent a couple of weeks working on this and i have searched the web.

I have a MAC on a windows 2000 network. It can browse the network and see printers already on the network. The problem starts when i try and select one of them!!!

Is there anywehere on the web that will give me a step by step guide to printing for MACS? Anytime i choose a printer, it never installs the correct drivers, it's always a laserwriter printer, even if it's a HP1200C that i have chosen and i have the MAC drivers installed. I'm beginning to pull my hair out!!!

cheers

On OS 9, you need to have the printer physically networked on its own and broadcasting as an apple device.

Then add the Mac PPd to your extensions printer descs folder. Then go to chooser laserwriter 8 and it should be in the list. Click it. Choose setup, select printer from list. Done.
