Printing Shading Problems

When printing from indesign i am getting weird shading around certain text boxes and in images. They are not visable on screen or when pdf'd. When the documents are pdf'd and printed many images become pixelated and some shading still occurs.

It has happened on multiple machines all going to a high end office colour laser printer.

any suggestions would greatly help.

I found a solution. Just needed to change the print quality setting to Raster as opposed to Vector.

hope this helps someone else.
