This is the first time I have written to this forum and I hope that someone will be able to help with my problem. I use Filemaker Pro 5 at work to print serial number labels. We currently use a dot matrix printer where we can set the paper size but we would like to switch to a laser printer. The serial numbers have 3 parts, the product letter followed by the year of manufacture, a dash followed by the shop order number which is unique for each order then the incremented serial number up to the quantity ordered. For example if someone ordered 25, the number would be T05-136001 through T05-136025. I have a script that creates the serial numbers and with the dot matrix printer I can define the paper size and print each label as a new page; with the laser printer I cannot do this. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
