Can anyone help me with printing a report to pdf files?

Basically I have to produce individual pdf information sheets for each of a long list of products.

I plan on using distiller, but I don't want to have to enter From page and To Page every time. Also I want to make the file name equal to one of the fields on the page.

I'm guessing that it is probably fairly easy to do, but would greatly appreciate a head start.

Thanks in advance!

Scott

This solution may cost a little but it might save you lots of development time if it meets your requirements... Check out the MS Access Developer Products.

not sure about distiller but can you not just filter your report data to include only the data you want, and then just print that?

Well not quite.....

You are correct, i don't need distiller, just set the default printer to the Adobe PDF.

But I want the product ID to be the name of the pdf file automagically, and i don't want to have to do the whole print dialog for all of the products on my long list.

I'm getting close with send keys. I'm able to print a single page, but I am having trouble naming the file appropriately.

Thanks anyway.

not 100% sure about this, but if you have full adobe, then you should be able to get at the adobe libraries, and the automation functions within those libraries.

Try looking at your references to see if there's any obvious adobe or pdf libraries...
