Good day,

Is there a way to print just part of a page? I have a page that is 1/2 graphic and 1/2 text. I have make several changes to the text and have had to print the page each time. I just dont want to waste all my color ink on the graphic every time I print the page. So I was wondering if there was a way to just print the text of a page.

Or what is the best way to make the graphic unprintable?

Thanks!

Go to Window menu and pick Attributes. Select image on page and click "non printing" in attributes window.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

To create nonprinting objects:

You might want to create objects that appear onscreen, but will not be printed or appear in portable versions of the document.

You can also use layers to selectively hide or show elements in a document.

Select the object or text frame that you don’t want to be printed.
Open the Attributes palette (Window > Attributes).
In the Attributes palette, select Nonprinting.
