Hi, i've got a couple of reports running through our intranet. I use this command
<A href=&quot;reports/team/cvsent.rpt?init=java&quot; target=report>
to kick the report off. The report comes off fine apart from when a user comes to print of the reports. Some of them are set up as landscape but when the print them they come off portrait. I know you can change this when you come to print but i would like to specify how they print off when i design them.

Is there some way to do this?

Cheers

Under the FILE menu there is a PRINTER SETUP option. You can set the report to be landscape there. Then save the report and it should default to landscape.

Its not that i can't set the report to appear in landscape its just when you come to print it from my intranet, it won't default to landscape

Are you viewing the reports through IE or Netscape? If so, I suspect the IE or Netscape printing defaults are overriding the report print defaults.

Yeah i'm viewing them through IE is there any way to override those settings

I don't know of any way. You might ask the question on the web browser or IE page.
