Printing Reports through VB6

I have developed a report using seagate crystal report.
I am printing this report using VB6 with crystal report control placed on form by command '.printreport'.
But whenever i send this report for printing on printer(Epson LX-300) ,it takes about 20 seconds to start the actual printing during this time the messege 'press cancel button to cancel the printing' remains on the screen
Where does the problem lies ..
With Crystal report or printer or VB6
