printing report specs

R&R Report Writer has the ability to print report specs (links,calculations,totals)out. This feature gives the programmer the ability to review and troubleshoot all programming.

I'm just moving my operation to Crystal. I haven't been able to find a similiar function in Crystal.

Can anyone tell me how to print out the report specs? [sig][/sig]

Not sure its exactly what you need, but when in Design, hit the Export button, and in the Format dropdown list, select Report Definition. This creates a document that lays out the contents of the report, eg formulas, formatting info, that kind of thing into a document (.txt iirc)

I have seen a product called "Speed Specer" on the web, that is supposed to do a better job of printing report definitions. I haven't used it but here is a link to it:
