I'm using Crystal Reports Server XI with CR XI and a SQL MDB.

I've managed to figure out how to create an alert within the report and then based on the alert's result, conditionally email a link.

I am wondering if anything exists to conditionally PRINT the report based on the alert? We have a group of users who have a specific report which prints each hour. We would like to only print the report if the record count is greater than 0. These users do not have access to email.

If you open the report, select report options, will the "supress printing if no records" option work for you? I've never tried it so I can't say for sure.

I'll have to give it a try to see if it will work...I'll post back my findings shortly.
