I am working with 97 database, relatively clean.. I need to understand the relationships and tables and I can't figure how to print the relationships window. I downloaded the "Print Relationships Window" add-in, but it doesn't give me the view I need (nothing truncated).

Any suggestions?

Also, are there any integrity issues with migrating an Access97 database to Access2002?

Thanks!

You may need to invest in a program that can create and print ERDs such as some versions of Visio. An alternative I built once was to save the relationship as a report. I then used code to shrink the entire diagram so it would fit.

I'll give the workaround a try today.
Thank you!

Any comments on the 97-2002 migration?

This is a sensitive information dB containing vital information for sales commissions administration, data integrity is clearly important, but more concerning is the integrity of the relationships, associations and calculations within the structure of the 97 dB.

I always make backups, run the conversion, and test the new application prior to putting into production. Often times I will run parallel apps to make sure the converted app works as expected. I have converted several apps with very few issues.

One issue from 97 to 2000 (maybe 2002) is a latency issue with graphs in reports.

I've been told that running Access 97 & 2002 on the same machine in parallele is unstable. The IT group has chosen to remove my ability to use 2002 on the same machine I run 97 on.

Looking for validation on any application stability issues that might arise if I ran both versions of access on an XP platform in parallel.

Thank you!
