printing recurring calendar items crashes GW client

When one end user prints a week of recurring calendar items (like vacation, that he posted using the scheduler) it crashes the GW client.

He can print appointments sent to his calendar or if he deletes the recurring appointments and enters them in one at a time, then prints the same week, GW does not crash.

any ideas why this particular type of posted calendar item would cause GW to crash when printing?
