printing probs in pagemaker 6.5 1

i am trying to print from pagemaker 6.5 to a xerox 5070 colour printer. the program performs an illegal operation.

pm6.5 caused a general protection fault in gkng32.dll

have checked that the fonts arent corrupt and have not previously encounted problems with the fonts as the printer is a post script printer.

Have also tried re-installing the software once again to no avail.

has anyone got any ideas. cos i'm all out.

Hello,
Couple of things to try.
1. Try printing a proof print to see if it is a problem with the graphics.
2. Run the save for service provider under utilities/plugins/ to see if there is a problem with the links or fonts
3. Is every thing on the local harddrive (doc, all linked or ole items)?
4. Rebuild your Pagemaker Prefs.
5. Reinstall your printer driver and ppd.
6. Change the driver and/or ppd and try printing again.
