Printing problems

I am having trouble printing from ID2 (Win 98) to a Oce 2070 Varioprint. Although I was always able to print correctly from Pagemaker to the Oce, in the Print menu in ID, I can choose the printer, but not its PPD, and all text comes out in Courier italics. The only way i can successfully print an ID document is to make a PDF first then print from Acrobat.

Any suggestions?
