Printing problems

Hello,
I am using mac OS 9.2. This is usually the method i use for printing pdfs. For some reason this one file is not printing.
1.I have created a file in Quarkxpress 3.31.
2.In the chooser I select Adobe PS. My job options are set to ebook.
3. I open Adobe Acrobat 5.0
4. In the chooser, I select Postscript Printer.

The file still doesn't print! I have tried some of the suggestions in other posts like switching job options but it still does not work. I am not clear on how to re-distill or saving as .ps file. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Someone had suggested this to me and it worked so here is the solution if anyone else has this problem.
Try generating a EPS from the Quark File menu and then take that EPS and apply it to Acrobat Distiller directly. Use Acrobat Reader (not full Acrobat) to print the PDF you create.
