Printing Problems

Having issues printing. Following errors occur:
Adobe PS cannot be used because of internal error.
File cannot be found.
Another error saying something about not being able to pass through the spooler.

I've installed a new PS driver and printer description. I'm running OS 8.6. The problem occurs when trying to print from Freehand and Outlook. Any suggestion?

It's a canon 1100 ColorPass Z-40. I got the latest PS driver off of the Adobe website 8.7.3.
