I have a Solaris 9 server in which I have a Lexmark OPtra T616 printer as a network printer... I installed the Markvision 4.3 ( I know it is old) to the solaris 9 server without any problems.. I'm able to see the printer and everything seems to be okay until I to print something... I used the following command to print: lp -dlexmark1 test
Get the following message in the console:
Printing has stopped, but will be restarted in a few minutes; issue an enable command if you want to restart sooner. Unless someone issues a change request..The reason(s) it stopped (multiple reasons indicate repeated attempts):
exec exit fault<EOT>
Not sure what is going on with this... I end up having to cancel the print job... The printer is enabled and taking request.. Any help will be appriciated...
