I have a user who, after she logs in, cannot print to our network printers. The Netware broadcast message comes up saying the job has gone through to the correct printer, however there is no document. Another user logs in and can print fine from the same computer and printer. I noticed, after this user logs in, the log in script comes up with this error: LOGIN-4.21.15-240: This utility was unable to open script file Services. Is there something I can change to get this user printing again? Any suggestions would be of great assisstance.

Try deleting the user and recreating them. Wait a little while for the DS to settle down or force some house cleaning with dstrace. That usually clears up any corruption that may cause this.

Thanks for the suggetion, however if I delete the user would this delete this person from the Groupwise post office as well? I want to try and avoid deleting anything this person has in e-mail.

In NWAdmin when you delete the user it will ask if you want to:
expire groupwise account
delete groupwise account
only delete NDS account

choose only nds account. When you recreate the new account and goto the groupwise tab, you will be prompted as to if the groupwise account should be attached to the nds account. Answer yes. All back the way it was....

Cheers,

Mark ;-)

What type of printing do you use? And do you use ZEN with profiles? -----------------------------------------------------
