Printing problems with Cyrstal 7

I had some reports written in Crystal Reports 7 drawing data from a MS SQL Server 6.5 database. This database was upgraded to 7.0 and I recreated the reports, but now I have a problem with the printouts. The print preview looks perfect, but on the physical printout some records in some particular fields appear to have 2 sets of data overlapping each other, and the overlapping data contains both the correct data and also data from other records printing in the same spot.

Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks.

Where are the errant records coming from (the row before, after, data that should be suppressed).
Do the fields that "appear" to have overlapping data actually have overlapping data? It may not show on the screen because a printer has much better (as well as different) resolution.
Is the problem related to page breaks, or changes in groups. Are the fields that are overlapping in a particular group?

I have discovered the error. The data was actually longer than the field on the report, and the "Can Grow" option was unchecked. On the print preview this data was truncated, but on the actual printout the data seemed to wrap on the same line, causing multiple characters to be printed on the same spaces. I don't now why this did not occur in the older versions of the reports since they did not have the "Can Grow" option checked either.

I want to print a large report (400 page) in a Dot Matrix Printer,in text mode. How can we do this. Please help

I have the same problem too, but my data was not long then the field.
It sometimes print data from different row on to the same line... The preview is fine, only when it starts printing the problem comes out.

How can I fix this? Please help thanks!!
