Hello all,
I just purchased an HP P4014n laserjet printer and I installed it on an unsecured wireless network. Currently it does not have a static IP address, however it has not changed and I plan on getting a static IP address.
The printer is hardwired to the network and we have 2 Vista laptops and 1 Windows XP laptop connected wirelessly to the network.
I installed the HP printer drivers on all the laptops and the XP laptop (using office 2003) prints fine everytime, however I'm having issues printing from the Vista laptops.
The print test page prints fine, and I can print an internet page, a pdf file, or excel worksheet just fine, however when I print from Word 2007 (even if the document is a 2003 document), the printer does not print the document until I actually cancel the print.
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!
Julie
