Printing Problems - Gantt View Project Plan

Hi there,

The task Name field if getting cut off while printing. The print preview does not show any problems but the actual printout has the longer descriptions cutoff.

Here is what I have tried so far:
-Tried to edit the field length to accommodate the longer entries
-This fixes the problem but does not include the Resource Names on the printout.

I'm not sure if this makes sense?

UPDATE:

As mentioned before, the Resource Names field is not printing even though I can see it in the Gantt View.

Any suggestions?

Hmmm ... not quite sure why you can't print the column.

A column is printed only if it is completely visible in the, for example, View | Gantt display. If the column is partially hidden by the Gantt chart (even just a little) then it will not be printed.

You also say a field is being cut off. Normally, if the columns are too wide to print then Project will give you an error message and won't even print the page.

Which View are you using?

Which columns are *fully* displayed when you select the View before printing?

Which columns are *fully* displayed with you do a Print Preview?

Which columns are *fully* printed when you print?

Getting desperate here: which version of Project are you using?
