Printing problem

I work with the Illustrator CS, and to RIP the AI files to a HP3000cp, i use PhotoPrint.

If I have on the file elementes with DROP SHADOW apllied, those elementes appear with a wite shape arround it.

How can I avoide this proble.

Make sure the RIP can handle Postscript Level 3, Tranparancey etc.
I've found anything below level 3 won't cut it. it leaves a white box around things

I have allready solve the problem. I have to check the COMPATIBLE GRADIENT AND GRADIENT MESH PRINTING Box option on the Illustrator Print menu (Graphics Options).
