We installed sco openserver 5.0.6 on our server (acer altos 1200). Everything is working fine.A parallel printer (OKI)attached to the server is also woking fine. There is one Fujitsu Line printer (which is in use with the old Sun server) which needs to be interfaced with the new sco server.
When connected to the sco server through the same cable (on which OKI) is working fine, this line printer prints very very slowly (one line in almost two minutes !).
The same line printer works at okay speed with the same port through sun server.
We tried changing the settings of parallel port (Standard, bi-directional,ecp,epp)in the CMOS setup of acer server. Nothing has helped.

Any one having any idea? The line printer model is Fujitsu M3041T.

Thanks In Advance

Any one having gone through a similar problem?

Probably the driver is not seeing interrupts.

See "man pa" and note the description for bit 6 Tony Lawrence
SCO Unix/Linux Resources tony@pcunix.com

It describes the function but does not give the procedure on how to do it? Can you tell me that?
