printing problem

Hello. I'm having a problem printing from AutoCAD 2000 to a hewlet packard laser jet 4 printer. It takes a while for the printout to come out. But when I use R.14, it prints out in a snap. Any suggestions??

You have to go and download the acad2000 plot update patch from Autodesk.
Found here:

ftp://adeskftp.autodesk.com/prodsupp/autocad2000/patches/plotupdate.exe


Or if you can't get FTP access, go to

http://support.autodesk.com/enu/Homepage.asp

And then the Downloads and Drivers link on the left, and do a search for Plot Update, for AutoCAD 2000
