Printing problem

I am designing promotional materials for our family small crafting business. Publisher 2010 is causing all inserted pictures to print with pink vertical lines running top to bottom. The lines do not show up on the screen or in the print preview, but all pictures have them. Can anyone give me an idea what is causing this and if there is a remedy? This is the only program that gives me these errors. The same pictures print flawlessly from Photoshop.

Have you tried cleaning your print heads?

I found someone else with the same problem and you are not going to like what they have to say about this issue.

Thanks for your response.

It was only happening with MS Publisher. Photos printed from Photoshop were fine. In any case, I have since replaced five of the six ink cartridges and the problem has gone away.

I wasn't aware of the problem with the piezo heads, but now that I am, I will look at another brand of printer when next I need to replace this one.
