I have an app server in the server farm that is timing out on a couple of printers. Below is the event log message I am seeing on the server:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: IMAService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3989
Date: 12/9/2006
Time: 8:24:57 AM
User: N/A
Computer: OUT-CTXAPP5
Description:
The Citrix Presentation Server failed to connect to the Data Store. ODBC error while
connecting to the database: 28000 -> [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
Login failed for user 'OUHSC\OUT-CTXAPP5$'.

If anyone can help with this issue, your efforts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
David

sgwisby,
It sounds like the user account that the Citrix server is using to connect to the Datastore is either invalid or has the wrong password.

Is your IMA service running?
It looks like its timing out because of the wrong credentials being supplied.

Go into the Aadministrative tools folder in the Control Panel and open the ODBC administrator. There will be a number of tabs on the top (ie...system, user dsn). Choose the "System" DSN and highlight IMA directory. Choose "Add" and then go all the way down to choose the SQL ODBC drivr.
Once you've done this...follow the wizard until it is complete. You should be able to start the IMA service...if not reboot the server and that should do it.

Hope that helps.
