Printing problem C5.5h after upgrade w98se to XP.

Hello,

We have multi-user (40 users) application written with Clarion
5.5h. This was working fine in a W98se workstations and Novell Server enviremont. Moste recently, we upgraded the server to Windows 2003, and the workstations to XP Sp2, all with 512 MB.

But now we got this annoying problem, that sometimes the application "hangs" when trying to show the preview of the report to be printed. All you see is a white page, and the hourglass. After clicking several times on the window, it comes back, but then crashes.

We tried running the application from a Win98SE workstation connecting to the same Windows 2003 Server, and this works fine.

Anybody got some suggestions what could be the problem ?

There was some talk about too many files in the Windows TEMP directory causing printing problems in XP. Check the SV newsgroups for more info.
