Hi Everyone,
For the past 10+ years I have been using a NEC Silentwriter 95 with postscript 2.
With the NEC I have always been able to print out Pantone color separations as dots. For example I could have a Pantone color with the following Halftone Options: Type=Dot, LPI=25, and Angle=45. This would give me black dots.
I recently bought a new Dell 1710n laser printer. This printer has postscript 3.
When I attemp to print the halftone described above, with the new Dell 1710n, it just prints a shade. The name of the printer in the print que has a PS behind making me think that it is a postscript driver.
Is there some setting that I need to make? Calls to Dell so for have not been fruitful.
Thanks in advance.
