I recieved a very nice almost new E-studio 6CP Printer. It works fine for printing text but when i send a picture or a photo to it, it ends up coming out in some strange code or random symbols!! A tech guy said it might be my PCL setting or something like that. Does anyone know anything about this?

Printing Pictures Issues?

Question. what format are the images in. In print Preferences, have a look at advanced settings. If you answr there there may be other who may know the answer. PCL5 and PCL6 are different, they not speak the same language. But should do be able to handle graphic by using printer fonts.

Yes, do look at the files. Are they adobe photoshop? are they postscript files? need a p\s driver for them.
My Epson CX6600 will not print from any yellow cartridge. I have installed 3 different new yellow cartridges but none will rint. I have been through all the cleaning, etc. steps in manual. I can shake yellow ink out of each cartridge but no yellow will print out of any of them. My printer is out of warrenty. Thanks. Artmart.
