I have several HP 4000N printers on a network. When printing a pdf Citrix session, one of these HPs has decided to print out in a foreign language (it looks like Arabic). Whilst all the others are okay. This only happens with pdf files, and only on this printer. fat clients can print pdf files normally to it.

I am pointing this to the same driver that the other 4000N printers are using, and can't find anything differnet in the setup. This started happening about 3 weeks ago, but I was only told about it yesterday. I can't think of anything that has changed.

has anyone got any clues? Chris

It worked yesterday.
It doesn't work today.
That's Windows!

My post had an error in it, and should have read:-

Late answer but try clicking a Check box called Print as Image when you bring up the print box. This should solve your problems of text comming out as boxes. This is what we have to do. Although you don't have to do it all the time. Another solution is try installing Adobe Acrobat 5 reader. This was suppose to fix it but didn't work for me, but the print as image check box should work for you.

Thanks Koolaid99 that worked fine as a workaround. I am already running Acrobat 5.05, and had the problem. I have found that my wtsuprn.inf file had an error, and correcting this apears to have solved the problem. Chris
