Printing on a Network

Not sure if this is the right area. But we have 2 printers near a network outlet. We would like to hook both printers into the network. Is it possible to get a switch, plug that into the outlet, and plug both printers into the switch?

Any help would be appreciated.

A basic switch should do the trick as far as the physical connections are concerned. The printers will need IP assignments unless you are using DHCP and configuring the WorkStations, etc.
