I have an HP 1220c printer that I have used with no problem for years. I have printed all kinds of documents on all kinds of paper with no problem. But I can't get it to print on 13" wide paper in Publisher. Printing 13" wide in other programs... including Microsoft Word... is no problem.
Every time I try to print, the printer setting automatically reverts back to 8.5x11 size. I can print 11x17 in Publisher with no problem and of course 8.5x11 no problem. Banners, multi-page posters, etc, etc, no problem.
When I make a document in Publisher...
I first change the settings, including paper size, in "page setup",
then I design my page,
then go to "print", select no of copies, etc, and check the paper setting. It is still set at 13x19 as I selected in step one, so it looks like all is well.
I click print, and it starts to print, but in 8.5x11 size.
I stop the printing, and go back and check page setup, and sure enough the paper size is reverted back to 8.5x11.
This problem ONLY happens while using Publisher and ONLY with 13" wide paper. I am using XP with all updates, and the printer has all updates, and I am using Publisher 2003.
Anyone have any ideas??? THANKS!!!
