I have a table with a mix of Microsoft Word and Acrobat PDF documents stored as OLE objects. I'd like to print these using a report, with their original formatting, using as many pages as necessary. I can't figure out how to do this. Is there really no way to print an OLE object in its original form? It seems like that would make OLE objects pretty useless.

1.) Access reports will not support outputting Adobe Acrobat documents as embedded images in the report. Reports don't suppor the Acrobat OLE control. (You can try embedding the pdf on a form and using that as a sub report on the report, which will work in Access 2000 and 2002 but not 97; however see item 2.

2.) An ole object can not be resized at run time. So if your PDF and Word docs are multipage, the report will only show up to page 1.

The best possibility on both these items is to output the docs and pdf files to actual files on the disc from your OLE fields and print them via automation. Our PDF and Mail library will support print the PDFs from within Access.
