I have an older NEC 2400 MMG and want to be able to print out the error messages to a printer. Currently error messages only display on the screen and so fast that I can't read the details of the messages. How do I reroute the output to the printer? My MAT run on DOS 3.3 and uses 5 1/4 floppies.

You can setup a serial printer on the I/O ports as a fault message printer, or the more flexible way is to use a little program that redirects the LPT data to a file.

The data should already be printing to your LPT port when you do a list up.

The file is called PRN2FILE. Its a dos executable. You use it by "prn2file mat.txt"

If its not in the mat directory, send me an email and i'll attach it to a reply.
