Hi: I currently have an expediting report running which shows all of the outstanding line items on purchase orders.
If there are notes attached to the line items, the notes are printed via a subreport on the detail line. My problen is that I only want to print the purchase order line items which do not have notes. i.e. the subreport is blank.
I am running CR V10. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure why you're using a subreport. Subreports are very slow and should be avoided.

If you're only displaying results in the main report after the subreport fires (Details after the subreport, or the group footer), then create a shared variable to return the length of the notes field and base suppression on that.

Please share the report layout, example data and expected output.
