Ok, heres a tricky question (i think) I have data in a table that needs to be printed to a 5 page report...the problem that I encountered was that Accesses limit on height didnt allow me to build all 5 pages in 1 report using page breaks. So for each page I created a new report. This works perfectly if I choose a specific record to print the report for. However they need me to print 534 records worth of reports at the same time... Now heres where I run into the problem...the way I have it set up it prints 534 pages of page 1, then 534 pages of page 2...etc...as you can see this is going to be a nightmare to collate. Any suggestions?

Thanks Mike

Mike,

It looks like you're probably going about this from an odd angle. First off, are you truly looking to print 2,500 pages? That's a whole lot. I've never seen a report where a single record is five pages. Out of curiosity, what kind of data is this?

A couple of points...

To make page breaks you don't actually have to stretch the detail section of the report past 11 inches (or whatever it would be)--you can insert a page break.

You can make text fields short and set the "Can Grow" property to true. It won't necessarily put everything at the same height on parallel pages, but it will keep the same info on parallel pages.

Is it possible that it would be easier to set this up with a subreport? What's the Sql for the recordsource of this report?
