I am printing labels and and need a different amount of labels based on the information in the order. I have a paramater field that is assigned to a large CASE statement. The case statement determines the number of labels to print out. The paramater in @Type.

I tried using information from faq767-3227 The information I have is not stored into a table. So, is there a way to print multiple copies based off of a paramater value. Article faq767-3227 talked about the Record Selection condition. Where is that?

Thanks

If you can't use the technique I described in that FAQ, consider using a 3rd-party tool (see a list at:
Among these tools, my Visual CUT software allows you to dynamically control the number of copies printed by dragging & dropping a field/formula from the report into a "number of copies" option.

If the field/formula is placed in the Report Header/Footer then it would control the number of copies for the whole report. If the field/formula is placed in the Group Level 1 Header/Footer then it can control the number of copies of each Group segment (Print Bursting mode).

Cheers,
