Printing Multiple Copies in Acrobat Reader 5.0

Hello,

I have a Canon BJC 250, which seems to work fine most of the time. However, when in Acrobat I cannot send more than one copy of a print job at once - which can be annoying having to sit and click on print 5 or 6 times if I need multiple copies. I read that I have to activate 'multiple copies support' but there's nothing I can find that allows me to do this, and besides, all the office programs will let me send more than one at once.

Any ideas?

When you say "cannot send," does that mean that you can't change the number of copies on the Print dialog box? Or can you change the number, but the printer ignores that?

Do you get any error messages?

Sorry about that - the number of copies in the print dialogue is greyed out and stuck on 1.

Do you have another printer around? If so, is that greyed out on that printer?

I don't have another printer. This is the one I have to use print from Acrobat. I've noticed this seems to be a common problem with Canons from what I saw on the Adobe forum, but nobody has come up with an answer as far as I can see.

I tried another printer (which doesn't belong to me, so I can't use it permanently) and it worked fine, so the problem seems to be with the Canon BJC 250 - however this is the printer I MUST use, so any ideas how to fix this?
