From tiem to time I want to print out a man page. On my AIX systems i can use
Code:
man whatever | lp
or sometimes
Code:
man whatever | mail me@myserver
If I try either of these on my Linux boxes the formatting chars get in the way. I've tried setting my TERM to dumb and I've tried 'man man' to look for answers but I still get rubbish.

I'm sure there's a quick and simple fix but I can't find it. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks
