Hi,
I have a Canon CJC3000 A4 bubble jet printer. I'm trying to print out something which is essentially length of an A3 sheet of paper, but within the width of A4. Thus, you could view the paper as an A4 sheet which is abnormally longer that usual. I've been trying to print this job on the above mentioned printer but each time it comes out half cut off. The printer seems to start printing one third of the way down the landscape document. I would have presumed, given enough paper length, I would be able to print this job? Is this possible, or does one need to use an A3 printer instead? In essence, the print job is for the inlay leaf of an invitation card I am printing, which after printing I shall fold in half and place inside the card, gummed in the centre. I noticed that in print setup the "Media Size" is the size of an A4 sheet, where as my document is a custom size, bigger then that of an A4 sheet. Is it because of this that my print job is coming out incorrectly? How does one change the media size? Or is that governed by my printer driver and what it think is the largest media size I can place in the printer?

Any advice would be appreciated.

The printer driver is the problem and answer. You may have a bad setting or you may make use of new software. See if a new driver version is available for download from Canon. Printer drivers get updated all the time.
