Hi,

I'm using a Filemaker Application (5.5) on a server. In this application are a lot of scripts that use the scripstep "Print[]" (without dialog).

Now the problem is that I want a specific layout to be printed in "landscape" on default, for all users. If I go to (working on my own PC) "layout mode" and go to "File / Print setup" and change the Orientation to "Landscape", the layout will be printed landscape. I also "replaced" the print-script after changing this setting on my machine. But if I use the script from another PC, the layout will be printed Portrait again!

Do you know how to save the "Landscape"-printing setting in a script, so that all users will on default print a specific layout in Landscape?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards,

Robert

Print[]
perform WITH (unchecked) dialog

....Printer dialog is just as any other process of printing from any other programm...user has to specify what layout they want to use....
All the best!

I take it you are using the Server Version? I think (NB) you need to make sure everyone is disconected (from FMP) then make the change you describe.

Cheers,
Paul J.

....and use separate script for portret and landscape page set-up.

Let the user choose which setup they want/need...
