Hi,

I am trying to print labels to a TEC label printer from an Access form. I know it can be done by activating the print wizard each time but this seems too time consuming to do this for each record. Also, I would need to print out a certain amount of these labels based on a certain input "number of boxes".

I have tried to create a report that would be based on the form details but what gets printed is all "customers" which is one of the criteria in the form. So, instead of one customer label printed x numbers of times based on the "number of boxes" input, I get all the customers from the database.

I'm sure this is a fairly simple problem but I seem to be missing some little detail. Any help would be appreciated.

Idar,
I have posted this several times. I copied the following form another post several weeks ago.

This solution, thanks to CosmoKramer works very well for me. Add a table to your database that only has one number field. Populate this table "Number" to contain sequential numbers 1 to whatever the maximum number of labels you would ever print.
Add this table to the query that is the record source for your report. Don't join it.
Add the field that contains the numbers to the query grid and set the criteria for this field to:
Between 1 And [Qty]

Thanks Jim,

I haven't actually tried it yet but sometime today I will make the attempt. My "box" table already had sequential numbers in it so it shouldn't be a problem using it, I would assume. This should help me finish off one of my many issues requiring attention. Hehe. Again, thanks.
