I have an hp pavilion mx70 and a hp deskjet 5550 and using windows xp with WORD PERFECT 10 on board. I have problem printing multiple labels using the word perfect 10 label printing format. Only the label I have typed as a template will print in the first position...row 1, column 1.
When I was using windows 95 on my former packard bell computer with a basic Lexmark ink jet 1100, I had no trouble printing labels using WORD.
I tried to get help from COREL, MICROSOFT, etc., and the only clue I got was to try the merge process....which I do not know anything about. Perhaps I need to take a seminar on using WORD PERFECT 10? Why has COREL made such a function so difficult?

This is a Crystal Reports forum, there's a Corel: Wordperfect Suite Forum here, give that a shot.

If you are pulling data from some where else to create the labels, you would have to use the Mail merge process, which may take you some tries to learn how it works.

The merge process will save you time in retyping the label contents, formating, etc. There is a mail merge wizard from menu bar Tools/envelope and labels.... Follow the wizard there, make sure to insert all the fields you need to the very first label, preview your first label for content and format. I would recommend to not do any editing on the contents of the first label at this time. When you are sure the content and formats are all right, you can click to update all labels from the merge wizard menu. If you preview your labels now, you should see your labels on the first page only. To see all the labels you need, you would need to click on Edit all labels from Merge wizard. This is when Microsoft create another word file to pull all the contents into the format you have just defined. From that file, you can do individual editings as needed. Print from this new file will work for you.

I have just been through learning the mail merge to create labels from an Access database. It takes some experiments and frustrations, but it works well. You'd need to give yourself some time and patience in learning this, which is worth it in my opinion. Hope this helps.
