Hi All,

I have developed a CR report in version 8.5, which has form (set of lines and Text)and couple of fields. Usually this report will be printed on laser printer.

Now there is a need to print on pre-printed label on dot-matrix printer. So I need to suppress the form and just print the data value of field.

Instead of conditionally suppressing the form, that is line and text objects, is there a way we can just print the database field value.

Appreciate your response.

Thank you

RK

You could create a container report which olds both versions of your existing report as subreports. One as it is and the other for your label printer.

Add a Parameter which allows user to select print format and then conditionally suppress the subreports depending upon their input.
